Tyler Terry is Director of Programs at Camber Children’s Mental Health Wichita. In this role, he is responsible for ensuring treatment programs reflect Camber’s values and standards of care. Tyler does so by maintaining program compliance with all company, local, state and federal regulatory standards and accrediting bodies and ensuring the implementation of trauma-informed, evidence-based practices that foster safety, stability, and family and community connection.

Starting his career in mental health as a Behavioral Health Technician at Camber Hays, Tyler gained valuable experience by working directly with youth struggling with their mental health. After graduating college, Tyler provided and supervised teams providing community-based services to children and families in the Wichita area for six years. He has extensive knowledge in developing evidence-based group curriculums for summer programs and after-school psychosocial child and family groups. He is skilled in building relationships with school administrators and teachers to implement classroom-based support.

Tyler earned a bachelor’s degree in justice studies with a minor in psychology from Fort Hays State University.
