Providing Life-Saving Children’s Psychiatric Care

Camber Hays provides psychiatric residential treatment  and inpatient mental health treatment for children ages 6 to 18 who are experiencing depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, the impacts of trauma, and other mental health conditions. We accept Kansas Medicaid plans and most private insurance plans.

Have you heard the news? We expanded in Hays!

We opened a new inpatient hospital for youth experiencing an acute mental health crisis in February 2023. Youth in Western Kansas now have more access to these critical life-saving services at a newly designed hospital in Hays, Kansas. Adding these services will allow Camber to serve over 600 more children and teens each year who are in need of immediate stabilization and compassionate mental health treatment.
