Recognize a Camber Nurse for Exceptional Care

camber DAISY Award nomination formCamber nurses put their hearts and souls into helping every child who walks through our doors live a more balanced, healthy and resilient life. As children receive treatment for depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, the impacts of trauma, and other mental health needs, our nurses form meaningful connections with youth and give them hope for their future. To recognize Camber nurses for their amazing impact, we’ve partnered with the DAISY Foundation to honor our nurses who go above and beyond with a DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses.

Anyone can nominate a Camber nurse for a DAISY Award–parents or guardians of clients, community partners, our employees, or anyone else who has had an impactful experience with one of our nurses.

In your nomination, please provide as much detail as you can not only about what the nurse did that made a difference in your experience but also explain how the nurse’s care made you feel. If you have more than one nurse you would like to nominate, please list them on the form with their names separated by commas. Thank you for taking a moment to recognize an outstanding Camber nurse!

Congratulations to Camber’s most recent Daisy Award recipients!

More about The DAISY Award and The DAISY Foundation

In 1999, Mark and Bonnie Barnes founded the nonprofit organization, The DAISY Foundation™ (an acronym for Diseases Attacking the Immune SYstem), in memory of their son, J. Patrick “Pat” Barnes. With this organization, they created The DAISY Award, an international nurse recognition program to honor nurses at any stage of their careers, in any role and in any setting.

Pat’s family experienced first-hand the difference his nurses made in his care through clinical excellence and outstanding compassionate care. The DAISY Award enables clients, families, community partners and staff to thank and honor their special nurses.

Visit DAISYFoundation.org to learn more about Pat’s story and how The DAISY Award recognizes extraordinary nurses.
