Prior Authorization
Most insurance plans require the provider (Camber Mental Health) to contact them to request authorization for acute inpatient behavioral health treatment. Our Utilization Review (UR) department is experienced in working with insurance companies to obtain prior authorization and will manage this process upon admission. A member of our UR team will follow up with the patient or the guardian if additional information is needed.
