Dreamer Zelenka, ADN, RN
Dreamer, ADN, RN, serves as Associate Director of Nursing, where she provides leadership, supervision and oversight of nursing operations to ensure the delivery of safe, compassionate, high-quality care. In this role, Dreamer partners closely with interdisciplinary teams to promote clinical excellence, regulatory compliance and operational effectiveness while supporting nurses in providing exceptional care for children and adolescents.
Dreamer brings 10 years of experience as a registered nurse, including nine years specializing in adolescent mental health. Throughout her career, she has served as a floor nurse, charge nurse and nursing supervisor, leading high-acuity behavioral health units, supporting crisis interventions and fostering a culture of clinical excellence. Her compassionate approach and leadership have earned her recognition as a DAISY Award recipient and she also serves as a certified Safety Crisis Management (SCM) Instructor, helping prepare healthcare professionals to respond safely and effectively during challenging situations.
Dreamer earned her Associate Degree in Nursing from Barton Community College and is a Registered Nurse (RN). She is certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), reflecting her ongoing commitment to professional growth and high-quality patient care.
“My dedication to a lifetime of service was not a choice I made in adulthood; it is a foundational truth I have known since childhood. Growing up as the oldest of five children, I naturally stepped into a role centered on protection, nurturing, and proactive care. Becoming a nurse has been one of my life’s greatest accomplishments. I am driven by the opportunity to provide a safe, non-judgmental space where vulnerable adolescents can process trauma, regulate emotional distress, and develop the coping skills necessary to thrive.” – Dreamer Zelenka, ADN, RN
