Matt Mercer

Matt Mercer serves as the Director of Administration at Camber Mental Health in Wichita. In this role, he supports seamless coordination across departments, oversees workflow and project completion and helps ensure operational stability—from supply management and fiscal oversight to maintaining licensing and accreditation standards.
Matt brings more than 30 years of leadership experience in public safety and human services at the local, state and federal levels, as well as in nonprofit settings. Before joining Camber, he served as Chief Operating Officer at Larned State Hospital. His background in strategic planning, program operations and team development directly supports his work in helping create an environment where Camber clients, families and staff can thrive.
He holds a Bachelor of Science from Kansas State University and a Master of Management from the University of Phoenix, along with a wide range of professional certifications in areas such as emergency response and occupational health and safety.
