Vishal Adma, M.D.

Dr. Vishal Adma is a physician executive with more than 23 years of leadership experience in mental health care. He completed his residency in psychiatry at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City and has dedicated his career to improving care across hospital, academic and international settings.

Dr. Adma has served as Medical Director at Camber Mental Health, part of KVC Health Systems, for over two decades. He has also taught future professionals as an Assistant Professor at the University of Kansas Medical Center and Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. His commitment to quality and safety has extended globally through his work as a Physician Surveyor with The Joint Commission and Joint Commission International.

As the founding member and President of Integrated Psychiatric Consultants, Dr. Adma has led a team focused on delivering compassionate, evidence-based care across various clinical settings.

Dr. Adma is board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and holds a Master’s in Nutrition and Food Management. He also earned certifications from the American Board of Medical Quality and is a Certified Physician Executive through the American Association for Physician Leadership.

Dr. Adma has been recognized throughout his career for his contributions to education and clinical excellence. He received the national “Dorland Health People Award,” was named “Resident of the Year” in Psychiatry, and earned the “Student Voice Award” for his dedication to medical students. He was honored as “Professional Leader of the Year – 2012” by the Asian American Chamber of Commerce in Kansas City and received the “Excellence in Medicine” Award at the American Telugu Convention in 2018.

A champion of community engagement, Dr. Adma has volunteered on nonprofit boards including Goodwill of Kansas City, Keys for Networking, the Hindu Temple and Cultural Center, and the Telugu Association of Greater Kansas City. His career reflects a commitment to advancing mental health care, supporting families and building stronger, healthier communities.
