KVC Wheatland Hospital Honors Employees at 5th Annual Wheaties Award Ceremony

KVC Wheatland Hospital Honors employees

Each year, KVC Wheatland Hospital honors its passionate and committed employees at the annual Wheaties Awards ceremony. This event is a way to recognize the accomplishments of the dedicated individuals who help achieve our mission of enriching and enhancing the lives of children and families in the community.

“The Wheaties are always a lot of fun and staff get to come and enjoy a night celebrating them,” said Program Director Audrey Lindenmeyer. “We’ve done this for five years now, and it’s one thing we all look forward to every year. It’s a great way to honor the important work each person is doing throughout the year and celebrate the wonderful care they give to the children and families we serve.”

KVC Wheatland Hospital is located in Hays, Kansas and provides treatment for youth struggling with various emotional, behavioral and psychiatric issues. The staff is comprised of psychiatrists, therapists, nurses, counselors, pharmacists, a dietician, certified teachers and other support staff. Each team member strives to make KVC Wheatland Hospital a caring and loving place for youth to heal.

“At KVC, our dedication to care for your child and family is a value deeply rooted throughout the foundation of our entire organization. We continually ask ourselves, “What would I want for my child?’” -Ryan Speier, President of KVC Hospitals

During the Wheaties Award ceremony, employees are recognized in a variety of award categories including teamwork creativity, and dedication to helping others.

Thank you to the KVC Wheatland Hospital staff members and to the children, adolescents and families in the community. It is an honor to serve you each year!
