Niles is proud to announce the appointment of Lindsey Russell as Niles Prep School Administrator. Lindsey has 11 years of experience in the field of education as a Special Education teacher. She dedicated her life to becoming an administrator because of her desire to positively impact an entire school community. This led her to pursue an Educational Specialist degree in Leadership and Administration. Lindsey brings a strong passion of working with individuals with special needs.

“Lindsey is a great addition to the excellence in quality of care and education that we have at Niles Prep,” said Astra Garner, President of Niles. “We are excited to have someone with her experience and passion leading Niles Prep to more years of helping the children and teens in the Kansas City community.”

Lindsey attended the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri, received her Masters in Special Education at the University of Missouri in Kansas City, Missouri and earned her Educational Specialist degree in Leadership and Administration at the University of Central Missouri.

“My passion has been and always will be to make learning fun for students,” said Russell. “I am excited to have students back in the classrooms and hallways, filling them with liveliness and enthusiasm for learning. The school experience is an important time in the lives of our students and our ultimate goal is to prepare them for real life. It is our mission to help every child feel welcomed, valued and a part of our Niles Prep family. One of the most important parts of my work here at Niles Prep will be building strong relationships with students, teachers, and families. You’ll find me in the hallways, classrooms, and at special activities.”
